- Brandon says we should have a provisional decision before we go to the Starship Symposium
- Although the business cards don't necessarily have to say
- Incorporating as a nonprofit has a lot more hoops to jump through, and fewer protections, than establishing status as a religion
- Speaking from experience with the ASF
- Does a religion have to have a god or gods?
- Is atheism a religion? Do Buddhism or pantheism have gods?
- Is science a religion?
- Ben: SolSeed is probably a branch of the metaphorical Church of Science.
- Shelley: SolSeed is not a religion.
- Brandon: SolSeed is an alternative to traditional religion.
100 Year Starship Symposium
- Do something to show our commitment to the movement
- Dress up as monks with SolSeed emblem embroidered on our robes?
