Next Service Logistics
- Saturday January 7, 2012 ... Shelley
- Rotation: Brandon, Jerry?, Shelley, Ben
Winter Solstice
- A little more preparation for the service would pay dividends
- Keep the lights off for a little longer (let our eyes adjust)
- Sitdown dinner
- Pros: generally thumbs up, got to talk to everyone individually, Shelley says the food prep was generally easier this year (less required because about half the people) ... thought the food prep was great (considering we had to walk in the door from the hike and have it ready to go)
- Cons: it would be nice if we could have more people ... normally the Vliets and the
Hartley's and Ted and Celeste would come ... but there would hardly be room
- Shelley really likes the multi-generational feel ... three sets of parents, our generation, plus the kids
- Yule log ... perhaps swap it in for the hike next year?

Discussion
- Brandon thinks we set our sights too broad and on things outside of our control ... need to more realistic and focused on what we will do, not outcomes we want
- We should target habits and regular practices that build momentum, more than numbers of "new members" etc
- Shelley thinks we need a protocol for interacting with people who sign up as Members by Declaration
- Drip campaign: an email every week to draw people in
- Ben feels that we may be drastically redirecting our strategy too often, rather than giving the things we are doing enough chance to work ... things might be discouraging at first, but sometimes that is just because we haven't pushed on the flywheel long enough
First Meetup
Ben is not coming after all
Evaluation
- Shelley: thought we got a lot done
- Ben: still angry at my technology, glad that we got the OnePagePlan laid out for the next quarter and year
- Brandon: excited for this quarter and this year, disappointed that the 2011 progress markers (lots of reds) don't match my feelings of the progress we've made
